From first call to live shelf in ~3 weeks

Discovery call

30-minute video call. We learn your catalog size, POS system, settlement currency, and the operational constraints on your till staff. Mutual NDA on request.

Catalog onboarding

Send us a CSV/Excel export of SKUs + prices, or grant API access to your POS. We map it to our category tree, photograph any missing imagery, and stage it in a sandbox you can preview.

Till-staff training

One 45-minute session on-site or remote. Staff learn what a RomBa Stripe Issuing card looks like, how to read the in-app order code, and the receipt-photo step that closes the order.

Pilot, then full rollout

We go live with one terminal for two weeks at limited daily volume. Daily reconciliation + a shared Slack channel. If it works, we open the catalog city-wide and add a dedicated routing slot in the faithful feed.

What store owners usually ask

Do we have to give a discount?+

No. Faithful pay your normal duty-free shelf price with a real Stripe Issuing card. RomBa earns from the faithful's margin and the customer's service fee, not from your gross.

What POS systems do you integrate with?+

We support generic CSV / XLSX exports for pilots, and have native connectors for Cegid, NewStore, Oracle Xstore, and most cloud-POS systems. Full list on request.

What happens if a faithful doesn't actually fly?+

The Stripe Issuing card is scoped to the basket total and is voided automatically after 5 minutes. If the faithful never reaches the till, the card simply expires unused — no risk to your inventory.

Can we exclude regulated SKUs (tobacco, certain spirits)?+

Yes — every catalog entry has a flag for which jurisdictions it can be sold to. The app refuses to put an excluded SKU into a basket for the wrong destination.

What if a customer disputes the order?+

Disputes are routed through Stripe escrow on the customer side. Your store is not a counterparty to the customer — only to the faithful, who pays you in full at the till. You are not exposed to chargebacks.

Why does this work for everyone?+

It's a three-way win by design. Your duty-free moves more product to a global audience that couldn't reach the shelf before — same shelf price, more turnover. The customer pays duty-free prices for the same goods their local retail charges 20–40 % more for. The Faithful earns €50–€300 for a flight they were already taking. The structural gap between duty-free and high-street pricing — VAT, import duty, retailer margin — funds all three sides at once. Nobody loses for someone else to win.
