Is this legal?+
Yes — within your country's personal duty-free allowance. The app shows your remaining customs headroom for the destination. Goods are for your personal use.
How is my money protected?+
Stripe escrow. Your payment is held by Stripe — not by us, not by the faithful — and is only released when both phones sign on OCULAR after physical handover.
What if the faithful disappears with my goods?+
They can't disappear with your money — that's in escrow. If they fail to hand over, you get a full refund from Stripe directly. The escrow is a Stripe contract, not a RomBa one.
What if an item is out of stock?+
The faithful marks it 'out of stock' in-app at the till. Stripe automatically refunds that SKU to your card. The rest of the basket continues.
Can I tip the faithful?+
Yes — you choose the tip on the handover screen, anywhere from 0% to 25%. It's optional and on top of the service fee you saw at checkout.
